"Practical Training"

So, you now have your Private Investigator’s licence. But no one will hire you. Most Investigation companies prefer to hire Investigators with some experience and/or training. So how do you get training if no one will hire an inexperienced Investigator?

 

T.R.I.O. Investigations offers “Practical Training” from Investigators with over 30 years experience in the industry. Training covers various aspects of surveillance and investigations that are required to fulfill the expectations of a Private Investigator.

 

You will learn how to start a case by conducting Background Research to confirm and develop information that will assist you to strategize how to proceed with Surveillance. You will learn various aspects of Surveillance, including how to properly follow and document (videotape) a subject's movements and activities, as well as compiling a Professional Report that accurately supports the video evidence obtained.

Overall, T.R.I.O. Investigations will provide you training that covers everything you need to know including:

• how to receive a file                                                     • how to prep a file                                         • equipment required

• how to prep your vehicle                                            • spot checks                                                    • setting up surveillance

• residential surveillance on a house                          • surveillance in an apartment building       • surveillance (foot and mobile)                

• leaving / following / landing a Subject                      • video using a camcorder                             • covert video (inside venues)                     

• how to write proper reports                                       • billing / timesheets                                       • how to finalize a file

 

Upon completion of your training, you will receive a certificate of completion that stipulates your training to potential employers. Furthermore, you will have more to offer an Investigation agency, and therefore have a better chance of gaining employment.

 

The cost for the 40-hour "Private Investigator's Practical Training" is $499.99 + taxes.

Although T.R.I.O. Investigations cannot guarantee employment, our staff maintains ties to other companies within the industry that may require Private Investigators. T.R.I.O. will assist the new Investigator in sustaining employment within the industry. If our company requires additional employees, preference will be given to those who obtained their training with T.R.I.O.

While working as a Private Investigator, you will have the opportunity to travel and work throughout Ontario or just in your hometown, whichever you prefer.
